I KEEP MISSING THEM!!

As I am sitting in my living room watching Criminal Intent, they yet again show a great commercial for the new season that starts this Fall on USA. They even incorporate "Monk" in the commercial. But because it was a season two episode, I wasn't recording it. ARGH!!!!

This past week has been nerve-wracking for me. My boss hired a new guy, and the very first day I was training him he asked me out on a date. Talk about having some guts. It totally took me by surprise. Since my move back home my personal life has been at a standstill, so I decided to accept his offer. Now everyone at work is suddenly interested in our lives and is suggesting that we shouldn't work together alone in case something might happen while at work. You would think that I've been there long enough for them to realize that I would not jeopardize my job for some guy.

To add to the nerves, my birthday is next week on Thursday. I called my step-mom and asked if she and my dad wanted to do anything, and she said that they were making "arrangements." When she says that word it always scares me. Then a week after my birthday is my mom's birthday. A week later is my dad's birthday. Talk about being busy!!!!

So to hopefully calm my nerves, I'm watching some good Vincent movies. One of my favorites of his is "Thumbsucker." My friend calls it the "D.I.L.F." movie, and I must say that I agree.

A whirlwind of a weekend

I'm happy to report that my high school reunion went great. A lot of the people there were surprised by how I look now. Some didn't even recognize me. I especially liked it when one guy asked one of my friends who the "hot chick with the martini" was over in the corner (that was me). Who knew that losing a few pounds, getting contacts, and putting on a dress, heels and make-up could change things for the better? Here are a couple photos from the night. In the first photo, I'm on the far right.

I'm also happy to report that the ad for the new season of CI has been playing constantly on USA and even on BRAVO as well. It is making me even more excited about the new season.

I've also started reading Heart Of The Old Country by Tim McLoughlin. Vincent is in a movie that comes out next year that is based on the book. As I'm reading it, I can picture him playing his character. I think we will definitely love him in this role.

And now I will quit writing my novel and share with you guys my new video. Enjoy!!

Finally, some good advertising!!!

So I was watching an episode of CI on USA Thursday night, and during the episode they happened to have an ad for the new season that starts in October. I was kinda upset that I wasn't able to record it. Usually I record the episodes, but since it was "Jones" from season one that was playing and I already own season one, I wasn't recording it. But on a whim I went to the USA website for CI and they show it!!! Plus they have some photos that I think are what the characters are going to look like for season seven. Goren looks so HOTT!!! Check it out for yourselves!!!

And if you click on the "Character Insight Videos" you'll find some pretty neat stuff in there as well.

Will I ever get a break???

Sorry that I've kinda been MIA for a while, but I'm working extra days in a row just so that I can have this weekend off. Saturday is my high school reunion, and I'm kinda freaking out about it. I absolutely HATED high school and was so happy when it was over. I don't know why, but for some reason being around some of my classmates makes me feel like I did back then, which was extremely shy and reserved.

To lighten my mood and take my mind off things, I put together a new video. Enjoy!!

I would LOVE to live on this street....

I spent the day on Sunday with my Dad and stepmom going to a picnic. I got to see some of my old friends that I haven't seen in a couple years, which is always great. But I could tell that I have changed a lot since I last saw them. A few years ago I was involved in a church group called Teens Encounter Christ, or TEC for short. Once I moved out west, I became less involved in it. All of them kept asking the next time I would be at a retreat, but I just couldn't say when I would. I think all that time living on my own changed my view on religion in general.

Another highlight of the trip was the church where the picnic was on. Now me, personally, would absolutely LOVE IT if I lived on this street:

Alright, enough about religion. Lets talk about something else, like how hot Vincent was in his Sherlock movie. I don't know why, but I find him incredibly attractive in this movie. I think its the hair. Its long and curly, but not too long. And lets face it: he does play a good bad guy. Here's a few shots from the movie. Enjoy!!
