Sorry that I've kinda been MIA for a while, but I'm working extra days in a row just so that I can have this weekend off. Saturday is my high school reunion, and I'm kinda freaking out about it. I absolutely HATED high school and was so happy when it was over. I don't know why, but for some reason being around some of my classmates makes me feel like I did back then, which was extremely shy and reserved.
To lighten my mood and take my mind off things, I put together a new video. Enjoy!!

Oh God yes! When I went to my HS reunion (only went to one) It was as if I was right back there. I hated HS and I hated how easily I slipped back into that I a nobody mindset. Something about being around all those people brought out the sad little sap in me. Never again!! Maybe when I'm 70 or so cus I will probably want to see who is still alive and kicking but only if i lose weight, win the lottery and write a best seller or something:)

I enjoy reunions, but I was very happy at shcool.
I refuse to attend any of mine, even though I was at the same school from K-12. All of my friends were in the class behind me or the class ahead of me. The kids in my grade teased me unmercifully from elementary school through graduation. 2002 was my 20th and I actually had a bunch of classmates email me and beg me to show up, but I was like, "you people tortured me for 12 years and NOW you want to be friendly and want me to attend? WRONG!" I didn't actually respond that way - I was cordial in my declination to attend.
I know we've all grown up, but the pain of being called fat and being picked last for sports is still with me. So while I would love to attend reunions of the classes of 1981 and 1983, I will not go to anything hosted by the class of 1982.
Wonderful video - I've only been to one school reunion. In fact, I think there's only been one. It was quite spooky chatting to (ex) teachers!
