I KEEP MISSING THEM!!

As I am sitting in my living room watching Criminal Intent, they yet again show a great commercial for the new season that starts this Fall on USA. They even incorporate "Monk" in the commercial. But because it was a season two episode, I wasn't recording it. ARGH!!!!

This past week has been nerve-wracking for me. My boss hired a new guy, and the very first day I was training him he asked me out on a date. Talk about having some guts. It totally took me by surprise. Since my move back home my personal life has been at a standstill, so I decided to accept his offer. Now everyone at work is suddenly interested in our lives and is suggesting that we shouldn't work together alone in case something might happen while at work. You would think that I've been there long enough for them to realize that I would not jeopardize my job for some guy.

To add to the nerves, my birthday is next week on Thursday. I called my step-mom and asked if she and my dad wanted to do anything, and she said that they were making "arrangements." When she says that word it always scares me. Then a week after my birthday is my mom's birthday. A week later is my dad's birthday. Talk about being busy!!!!

So to hopefully calm my nerves, I'm watching some good Vincent movies. One of my favorites of his is "Thumbsucker." My friend calls it the "D.I.L.F." movie, and I must say that I agree.

Have a great birthday, and don't worry about the thing at work - people will get over it.

Vincent runs like the injured athlete he's supposed to be in this movie - I wonder why he runs like a demented steam train in LOCI?

I wondered about the same thing too val.

Have a happy birthday. And yeah, like Val said, the less you discuss your personal life, the more likely they will be to leave you alone.

Val - I love your description of him running like a demented steam train! hahaha He certainly ran normally in "good luck" when he took the field as a Seahawk!

Sorry, that was me, typing gibberish.

What wonderful 'Thumbsucker' pictures!

Tess gave me a detailed description of the trailer, so I'm hoping it turns up somewhere.

Hey, I've worked for my company for 9 years, and as far as I'm concerned, there is 'work'and there is 'life' and I tend not to mix the two together.

Now Val, Vincent is a BIG guy, designed more for 'staying power' and 'satisfaction' rather than 'speed' - at least, that's how I think of him (and I think of him OFTEN)

Oh and Happy Birthday(s) to you and your family when they land!

NBC never promoted CI so all of this love and attention is a surprise, but I think USA is doing a fantastic job!!

Hope you have a great Birthday :)
